Realizing that Polish designs exclusively set in silver virtually dominate the world's Amber jewelry,in the early 1990's Katya, who does NOT wear earth tones OR silver..realized that if she wanted any Amber jewelry to wear, they would have to make it !

Moving away from the traditional Polish amber/silver designs, they ..instead, elected to use a combination of golds & s ilvers. primarily focusing on combinations in 14 k.g. tubing .as combined with Amethyst, Lapis lazuli, Garnet, onyx, jade..giving additional visual warmth to this unique fossil "gemstone" that accepts the body temperature of the wearer. In fact, in the early part of the 20th century .. blood transfusion vials were contstructed of amber.. as it stabalized the temperature of the blood as it was transferred.. from one person to another..
